Operating in over 30 countries around the world and offering a wide range of wines from the Prosecco region including still, sparkling and organic, the company is presenting its new successes and winning strategies at Vinexpo Asia 2024. While 2023 was a critical year not without its share of challenges, Viticoltori Ponte achieved its set targets with a 7% increase in turnover, reaching 96 million euros. A strong drive in the domestic market was accompanied by steady international development, affirming its global leadership. This is the result of a dynamic and forward-looking vision which has allowed it to double the production of sparkling wines in the last 5 years, i.e. since it decided to invest significantly in its own brands.
The company is preparing to open its new automated warehouse with 5,000 pallet pitches in Ponte di Piave as part of a three-year plan that also includes an increase in storage capacity to 60,000 hectolitres at the Caposile site and the acquisition of the La Salute winery, whose current storage capacity of about 15,000 hectolitres is to be doubled with additional installations for the harvests of the next few years.
Ponte di Piave Winery has also recently been declared officially sustainable, thanks to the attainment of EQUALITAS certification, which guarantees proper overall development that respects the environment and human rights. Viticoltori Ponte has brought new labels to Vinexpo Asia this year that offer interesting distribution volumes for becoming widespread in Asia.
