Tenuta Carretta is one of the oldest estates in the Piedmont back to 1467.
The estate has been making wine for over 555 years, an estate comprised of around 120 hectares, including one of the biggest plots in the prestigious Barolo Cannubi Cru.
Tenuta Carretta is a true “constellation of elegance” that includes a chic Boutique Hotel and a Michelin star Restaurant inside the winery, the only and exclusive restaurant on the top of Cannubi hill and last but not least, a boutique hotel and restaurant in the heart of the Barbaresco area.
Today, the winery offers a range of products from the Classic (traditional) to the Crowns line (versatile and best-selling) to the premium Reserve wines that represent the uniqueness, the elegance and the prestige of the winery, with small productions and in some cases on allocation as in the case of Barolo Cannubi Riserva, with a production limited to 1260 bottles each vintage.
A Strategic Wine Partner with Heritage, Scale and Premium Vision
Edoardo Miroglio Estate Winery combines authentic European winemaking heritage with a modern production structure designed for international markets. Located in the Elenovo region—an area shaped by ancient Thracian winemaking traditions—the estate is built on a strong philosophy of quality, sustainability, and long-term partnerships.
Founded in 2002 by Italian entrepreneur Edoardo Miroglio, the estate cultivates more than 120 hectares of estate-owned vineyards, planted with carefully selected French and Bulgarian grape varieties. The unique terroir, combined with certified organic viticulture since 2013, ensures consistency in quality and a clearly defined wine style.
The winery operates with state-of-the-art equipment from leading European producers and manages the entire production cycle—from grape to bottle—under one roof, guaranteeing full control, traceability, and operational flexibility. With an annual capacity of approximately 1.5 million liters, the estate is able to deliver reliable volumes for both premium and selective commercial segments.
A core specialization of the winery is premium sparkling wines produced by the Traditional Method, positioned in the premium and super-premium categories, alongside elegant oak-aged red and white wines distinguished by a refined style and strong international appeal.
The portfolio is strategically structured:
• ELENOVO Reserve, HERITAGE, and EDOARDO MIROGLIO (EM) – premium and icon wines designed for selective distribution, HoReCa, and specialized wine channels;
• SOLI – a commercial line developed for broader markets, offering competitive positioning without compromising quality.
