ABOUT WINES OF ARGENTINA
Since 1993, Wines of Argentina has been promoting the brand and country image of Argentine wines throughout the world. In addition, it plays its role in guiding Argentina's export strategy, by studying and analysing changes in key markets: the United States and Canada, the United Kingdom and Europe, Asia and Latin America. The organisation aims to collaborate in the consolidation of Argentina among the main wine exporting countries and contribute to the global success of the national wine industry through the construction of the "Vino Argentino" brand, raising the positive perception in the trade of opinion leaders and consumer audiences.
Barbarians is a group of independent family wineries, specializing in high quality wines from Maipú, Valle de Uco & Chilecito, in Mendoza and La Rioja Province, Argentina. We share the passion for wine and pursue perfection in each of them, thanks to the particularity of high-quality terroirs. Each of the winemakers that are part of Barbarians has their own imprint, personality, and style transmitted in the wines. Even so, we all have one element in common: sustainable viticulture and the natural process of winemaking, respecting the environment and the local community. We have a vast portfolio of awarded wines including organic wines.
Count Patrick d’Aulan is the heir of 250 years of family tradition in the wine making industry. Seeking the best regions, his strong and enterprising spirit took him to explore Los Andes mountains. He discovered there an exceptional terroir, and gathered a passionate team, all sharing the same dream: To achieve the fullest expression of Argentinean wines and French savoir-faire.
Since our first harvest, in 1998, our goal has been to produce authentic wines and to raise brand experience. We are focused on underlining details, highlighting places, sharing results, and celebrating our passionate team’s achievements.
Our Values:
· Commitment: To take care of people, place, culture, and environment.
· Ongoing Learning: To be able to face challenges and to grow constantly.
· Bio-Adaptability: To coexist with the unique and natural expression of each terroir, in each vintage.
Bodega Benegas was founded by Federico Benegas Lynch, 4th generation of winemakers. With two vineyards, one with plants from late 19th century, and another at 1450 meters above the sea level, Benegas produces only 300.000 liters of premium wines, always looking for the fruit in the first place, and the oak in the second place. Wines with very good structure. Fineness and excellence are Benegas’ better descriptors.

The dream of Casarena began in 2007, after Karen and Peter Dartley, felt in love of Mendoza and decided to rebuild a century-old family winery from 1937 located in Luján de Cuyo, the most prestigious and first wine region in Argentina, with the ultimate goal of becoming one of the greatest Single Vineyard producers in South America.
The project was named Casarena, translated as “Casa de Arena” in Spanish, “House of Sand” in English, because the original shape and exterior color of the winery recalls how old houses were built in Argentina. On the inside, it was fully renovated and equipped with the latest technologies, but maintaining its original roof made of cane and mudbrick walls, which naturally allows to keep low temperatures.
CASARENA vineyards accounts a total area of about 300 hectares. It has 4 vineyards in the Agrelo and Perdriel regions of Lujan de Cuyo, named LAUREN, OWEN, JAMILLA & NAOKI respectively after the grandchildren of Karen & Peter. The four vineyards are perfectly integrated, showing the diverse terroirs of LUJAN DE CUYO D.O.C.
