Child Company of SIMPLY ITALIAN GREAT WINES
SCHIOPETTO
A true standard-bearer of Friuli wine located in the rolling hills of Capriva del Friuli, Schiopetto is one of the oldest estates in Collio. It owes its fame to the late pioneer Mario Schiopetto, who ushered in a new era of Italian wine in the latter part of the 1960s by utilizing modern technology in the winemaking process. New owners Emilio and Alessandro Rotolo, who acquired Schiopetto in 2014 through their other Friuli winery, Volpe Pasini, continue to innovate and release exciting wines.
VOLPE PASINI
Volpe Pasini, whose origin dates back in year 1596, is an historical winery since the times of the Serenissima Republic of Venice, after having produced and supplied the most prestigious courts in whole Europe with the rare Picolit, has concentrated its qualitative focus in the production of white wines starting from the end of the Second World War.
The land, made of marl, situated in the northern territory in the hills of Friuli near Cividale del Friuli, gives to its wines exceptional elegance and freshness, which are able to offer them intensity and development when ageing in bottle.
